The RX350 is definitely on the short list. Hoping to get out and do some looking next week. Back-up camera is a good idea too.

OMG! You guys are so funny!

Okay, I'm not a mommy but I have ridden in some very nice mommy mobiles. Julie's lexus rx350 is amazing and so comfy! There is a fancy tv that pops down and when you reverse, there is a rearview video camera thing u can see behind the car. It rides super nice and is high up which I like. I will send this to her so she can give you some advice on a car!

xoxo

let's be honest here. a minivan, while it is the nightmare of every car enthusiast new father, is absolutely practical and affordable...

ok back to reality

the audi Q5 is a hot piece of ass. sort of like the hot girl who showed up at every party. the one every guy ogled but could not touch, that is the Q5. it would look nice in our garage alongside the S4 wagon that is currently the only drivable vehicle in our lives. why you ask? because the nonsensical and very obnoxious lift gate that is currently on our jeep commander has actually given me a bad case of sciatica.

with that being said, a crossover. this is the ticket - or so i believe. for anyone out there who is facing the same dilemma, HELP! any suggestions, or real life experiences that would assist in the purchasing of a "perfect" automobile and contribute to the safety (AND SLEEKNESS) of this family would be very much appreciated.

You might want to consider the Toyota Venza. It's a bit odd looking, but it has grown on me. Would be worth checking out. Also the Volvo XC60 is a great looking new crossover.
